"The Unexpected Guest"
Theme: Surprises, Laziness, and a Funny Encounter
It was a typical Saturday for Raj — the kind of day that involved zero plans and plenty of doing nothing. As usual, he was in his pajamas, sprawled out on the couch, binge-watching his favorite show.
Suddenly, his phone buzzed.
It was a message from his mom:
"I’m coming over to visit in an hour. Clean up!"
Panic mode activated. Raj's room was a disaster. There were clothes everywhere, empty pizza boxes, and his bed looked like a crime scene. He had exactly 60 minutes to transform his room from a pigsty to something that resembled a living space.
In a mad rush, Raj grabbed all the trash and stuffed it under his bed. He fluffed up his pillow, threw a blanket over the mess, and quickly wiped down the surface of his desk.
"Done," he said proudly, admiring his work. But just as he thought he was safe, his phone buzzed again. This time, it was a message from his mom:
"Also, I’m bringing a guest."
Raj froze.
"A guest?!"
Scene 2: The Arrival
An hour later, his mom arrived at his door — and behind her was a tall, beautiful woman.
Raj blinked twice.
"Uhhh, mom... who is this?"
His mom smiled.
"This is Neha. She’s my friend's daughter. I told her you’d love to meet her!"
Raj’s brain went into overdrive. He looked around — his room still a mess. His stomach did a flip. His first thought was:
"I’m doomed."
Neha stepped inside, and Raj could see her eyes scanning the room. He quickly tried to cover up the mess with his body, like a human shield, but it was too late.
"Nice room," she said, sounding more like she was commenting on a construction site.
Raj awkwardly scratched his head.
"Oh, you know... minimalist. I’m really into... simplicity."
Final Twist:
Just as Raj was preparing to die of embarrassment, his mom smiled and whispered to Neha:
"Don’t worry. Raj has been working on a new project. It’s called ‘The Art of Chaos.’"
Neha, suppressing a laugh, smiled at Raj:
"I must say, it's a very... unique project."
Raj, realizing he had somehow gotten away with it, let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Yeah, I’m pioneering a new trend in modern living. You know... totally avant-garde."
Neha nodded and winked:
"Well, if that’s the case, maybe I’ll hire you to organize my room sometime."
Raj smiled awkwardly, trying to hide his relief.
“Sure, sure. Just... uh, don’t expect any miracles.”
Moral:
Sometimes, life throws you curveballs, but if you can laugh it off and own the chaos, it might just work in your favor.
